Register as a Coach
How it Works
Login Info
- The e-mail address & password (login info) entered in the CrossTrak program must be
the same as those used during registration.
- Multiple athletes/coaches using CoachConnect on the same computer must register separately
on the CrossTrak website with their own e-mail
address and password. This information must then be added to the user's
personal settings in Setup.
- Coaches must
register separately "as a
coach" on the CrossTrak website to
retrieve data from athletes using CoachConnect.
- After
registering as a coach on the CrossTrak website, add yourself to the
CrossTrak program using the same e-mail and password used during registration
(see Setup).
Sending Data
- Select yourself from among the users listed in CrossTrak's Setup
screen.
- On the program's main interface, select Online Features >
CoachConnect > Upload Data to Coach.
- Version 2.5+ will prompt you to select a date range for
your data upload. Versions prior to 2.5 will upload all your data by default.
- CrossTrak will launch your Internet browser and dial up
your connection (if you are not already online). In some cases, it may be
necessary to establish a connection to the Internet prior to using
CoachConnect.
- After a few seconds, the CrossTrak website will appear and prompt you
to select a coach. If you have used CoachConnect before, your previously
selected coach will appear by default. If you are using CoachConnect for
the first time, or if you wish to send your data to a different coach, you
may search for your coach or scroll through the complete list of
registered coaches. Click Submit.
- Once a coach is selected, your data will be sent to the CrossTrak web
server for storage. Data sent by athletes to the CrossTrak web server using CoachConnect can only
be accessed, downloaded or viewed by the specific coach selected during the
"Upload" process. For more information, please see our
privacy statement.
Downloading Data
- Select yourself from among the users listed in CrossTrak's Setup
screen.
- On the program's main interface, select Online Features >
CoachConnect > Setup Athlete(s) to Download.
- CrossTrak will launch your Internet browser and dial up
your connection (if you are not already online). In some cases, it may be
necessary to establish a connection to the Internet prior to using
CoachConnect.
- After a few seconds, the CrossTrak website will appear and prompt you
to select (or remove) athletes from those that have sent data to you. You
can download data from one athlete or several at a time. Select the
athlete(s) and click Submit.
- After a few seconds, a progress bar will appear for each athlete being
downloaded. When downloading is complete, the CrossTrak program will
display the Daily Diary for the most recently downloaded athlete.
- Click Setup to view data for other athletes. All downloaded
athletes will appear with "-NEW" after their last name. Following
successful data transfer, you may delete athlete files from previous
downloads and remove "-NEW" from the last name in their current file ('-'
in Setup).
- Coaches using Version 2.9+ may download and view data from athletes
using any other version of CrossTrak. For coaches using older versions
of CrossTrak (pre-v2.9), athletes and coaches must be using the same version of CrossTrak to share data using CoachConnect.
