Upgrading Notes
Program Data:
- During the upgrade/installation process, CrossTrak will automatically recognize
and upgrade your data for the new version, providing the *old* program and data
are still present on the system during the upgrade/installation process.
- You can not use CrossTrak's Restore Database utility or copy the CrossTrak Userdata folder between different versions of the program.
New computer or reformatted hard
drive:
- To use your *old* data with the latest version of CrossTrak on a new computer or
reformatted hard drive, you should upgrade to the latest version of CrossTrak on
the old computer/hard drive first. Once this upgrade is complete, you may move
your *old* data to the new computer using the Backup/Restore Database utility or
by copying your Userdata folder.
- The WebBackup utility may be used to restore data from a previous version of
CrossTrak without upgrading the *old* data first.
- If neither of the above options is possible, please contact us about having your
data upgraded manually.
Power Data:
- Power data imported while using Version 2.8 may not automatically appear in
power output reports after upgrading to v2.9+. To ensure the accuracy of
power-related reports, find each workout with power data attached, open the
HRM/Session Editor (right-click, Edit HRM/Session data) and re-calculate the
zones (Calc Zones, OK).
- This procedure is not necessary for workouts
imported while using v2.9+.
